The LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System comes standard, providing musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance. With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the Hollowbody II has been a constant favorite in our dynamic lineup of hollow instruments. Thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile, the neck (made of Sapelli Mahogany) lies comfortably in the hand, perfectly accommodating the Ebony fingerboard.Another stunning PRS, Hollowbody II Piezo in gorgeous Purple Iris Without a doubt, the highlight here is the sharply contoured curvature of the top with a cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability across all registers. The body is made of Khaya Mahogany with a Maple top. Tone Wood SelectionThe Fame Forum IV Modern is manufactured by experienced Guitar builders in Europe and therefore takes tone wood selection seriously, in order to facilitate flawless workmanship. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer, so that mixing sounds with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pick-ups is also possible. A pull on the front volume control activates the system and delivers authentic Acoustic Guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behaviour. In addition to the magnetic pick-ups, the Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost Piezo pick-up system that is integrated into the bridge and has an active pre-amp. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop-bar tailpiece and precise locking mechanisms from the same manufacturer complete the FAME Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Satin. The integrated piezo pick-up system also delivers premium acoustic guitar sounds, so there's no limit to the variety of sounds and musical expression. The proven combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck and an SH-4 JB on the bridge deliver a wide-ranging tone, and can be tailored for Pop, Blues or Rock (enhanced with authentic single coil sounds thanks to Coil Split). This is made of Mahogany and traditionally glued, whilst the flat "D" profile lies comfortably in the hand, the Ebony fingerboard more than suitable for advanced techniques. The slender Mahogany body with Maple top offers a comfortable playing position, while the generous cut-away offers unhindered access over the entire neck. The FAME Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Satin is a versatile 6-string Electric Guitar with contemporary equipment and a high playing comfort. Bridge: GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic with Ghost Piezo Pick-Ups.

Pick-Ups: Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz (Neck) & SH-4 JB (Bridge). The main features of the Fame Forum IV Modern (Stonewashed Blue Satin) include: This is completely due to the lighting, and I tried to show different lighting scenarios, so you can see how it truly looks.

I’d also like to point out, some of the pictures it looks more blue, some of them it looks more faded grey. I also have custom knobs from JAT on, instead of the stock speed knobs, but I can put the originals back on if you’d prefer. I went with the “Raw Nickel” option on the pickup covers, as standard “chrome” always just end up dirty and smudged looking all the time, whereas the Raw Nickel has a smooth and already worn in feel, that perfectly fit the vibe of the satin finish of the guitar itself. I do not have the original Seymour Duncan pickups that came stock with this guitar, but TRUST me, you will NOT be disappointed by the Porter Anthem PAFs. These guitars are hand crafted in Poland, from the same factory as Mayones guitars. Includes a push/pull coil split, as well as a piezo blend knob, making this one of the most versatile guitars out there. This Fame Forum IV Modern electric guitar, has been upgraded with Porter Anthem PAF humbuckers ($300 upgrade, and regarded as some of the finest PAF style pickups currently produced, includes a GraphTech Ghost Piezo pickup (which has been my favorite piezo system, I’ve used), Schaller hardware (other than the gorgeous Gotoh locking tuners), and all the high end woods that you would find on core PRS models, including a pretty outstanding flamed maple top. This guitar FEELS, sounds, and plays just as good as any high end PRS I’ve ever owned (which has been about a dozen US models). Let me tell you, this isn’t just another PRS knockoff. I’m a huge fan of hybrid guitars I’ve owned Taylor T5s, Fender Acoustasonics, and about 5 different piezo equipped PRS guitars. This is basically a budget “PRS P24” or “PRS Custom 24 with a Piezo bridge”, for those that aren’t familiar with the model, except it doesn’t feel like a budget guitar at all. These don’t pop up to often, especially not on this side of the pond.
